The TIMS system in Albania has fallen prey to a cyber attack from Iran. As a result, the system did not work at all the border crossing points of our country, causing long queues.
On Saturday morning, Prime Minister Edi Rama announced on Saturday morning that Iranian hackers attacked the TIMS system.
Through a post on Twitter, the head of the Albanian government underlines that he is working around the clock with the allies to make our digital systems impenetrable.
" Another cyber attack by the same aggressors, already exposed and condemned by Albania's friendly and allied countries, was recorded last night on the TIMS system! In the meantime, we continue to work around the clock with our allies to make our digital systems impenetrable ", announced the Prime Minister.
