Muhamet Rrumbullaku replaced Gladis Nano at the head of the State Police and yesterday held several introductory meetings with different groups of officers where he gave orders to his subordinates.
He was asked to analyze the objectives, as he put a special focus on discipline at work and behavior in the community.
"I want directors who do not command from the office, but are in the field, to control, direct and manage the activity of police structures. I am looking for clear analyzes for the realization of the objectives you have received since the beginning of the year, analyzes for the problems and proposals for their solution. Discipline at work and performance in the community are important factors for an organization that produces order and security. Do not tolerate and do not influence the structures, to help anyone who is in violation of the law", Rrumbullaku is said to have told him.
Among other things, he also spoke about ethical issues related to the code of conduct of the State Police officers. It is learned that he requested that there be no police officers with beards and also asked them not to wear shorts outside of working hours.
