The Traffic Police has announced the balance of the last 24 hours regarding controls on the Tirana - Durrës - Fier - Vlora road axes with smart cars and automatic radars.

Through a press release, it is announced that in the last 24 hours, 52 driving licenses have been suspended, of which: 10 for driving under the influence of alcohol, 42 for speeding up to 40 to 60 km/h over the permitted rate .

Also, throughout the country, during the controls, 1950 vehicle drivers were identified and punished for various violations that are a potential risk for involvement in road accidents.

8 drivers were arrested, of which 5 for driving while intoxicated and 3 for driving without a driving license.

The State Police informs that it has taken a series of additional measures for the weekend due to the high flow of movements and the violations detected by the intelligent tools.

In all national, urban and rural road axes, the Police services will continue intensive controls and monitoring using smart cars, automatic radars, drones, cameras, cameras, breathalyzers, and non-uniform tools, in order to prevent road accidents.

The State Police appeals to all road users as a whole, especially drivers of vehicles, motorcycles and cyclists, to be careful and strictly follow the traffic rules and invites citizens to report to the Digital Police Station and to the emergency number 112 , any illegality.
