Today is November 29, the 78th anniversary of the Liberation of Albania from Italian and German fascist forces.
As every year, those nostalgic for the dictator Enver Hoxha have participated in the tributes at the Martyrs' Cemetery in Tirana commemorating this day.
As you can see in the photos below, they appear with the photographs of Enver Hoxha and the slogans "Long Live the Albanian Communist Party" or "Glory to the Great Albanian Enver Hoxha". There was also the placing of the red star or honors with a fist.
Senior political leaders and the American ambassador in Tirana, Yuri Kim, also paid tribute to the Martyrs' Cemetery.
We remember that politics celebrates this date divided, as the right celebrates November 28 as the day of Independence and Liberation, while November 29 is a holiday only for the left.
