The court hearing in the case of former Minister Fatmir Mediu has been postponed to April 7. The reason was his absence, as he had an invitation to the US Congress from March 24 to April 1.

According to lawyer Henrik Ligori, Mediu must be present in person to present comments on the military technical expertise act.

Meanwhile, the family's lawyer, Dorian Matlia, requested that the claims be presented in writing for the sake of judicial economy.

Prosecutor Klodian Braho called Fatmir Mediu's absence unjustified and requested that the hearing continue in the presence of his legal counsel, which was opposed by the latter.

Judge Irena Gjoka decided to postpone the hearing, drawing Mediu's attention to the fact that absences of this nature will no longer be considered in future hearings.

Zamira Durda was also present at the hearing and said that she has been waiting for justice for 17 years.
