Albania has been equipped with an unknown number of Turkish-made suicide drones.
Photos of the strike drones were released on March 18, during Defense Minister Pirro Vengu's visit to the Kuçova air base, a $50 million NATO investment.
The YIHA-III drones are displayed there, suitable for high-precision attacks against enemy air defense systems, radar installations, and operating bases.
The drone can stay in the air for several hours before executing the terminal attack phase with precision-guided targeting.
Another discovery of new aerial weapons was laser-guided bombs for Bayraktar TB2 drones.
Called Mini Akıllı Mühimmat (MAM), which translates to "micro intelligent munitions," they are being developed by Turkish defense industry manufacturer Roketsan.
MAM is developed for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), light attack aircraft, fighter jets, and air-to-ground missions for low-payload aerial platforms.
