The police of Vlora have given details of the death of the owner of a tourist agency near the place called "Kapelja".

According to the blue uniforms, 63-year-old Nadir Gjata allegedly lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a parked taxi, which, during the move, also crashed into 2 other parked vehicles.

It is suspected that the 63-year-old man had health problems while driving and died after the car crashed.

The event took place around 04:00 in the neighborhood "28 Nëntori" and from the preliminary examination of the body of Nadir Djata, the forensic expert did not find any signs of violence.

Meanwhile, his family raised suspicions that he had been killed.

On 21.08.2023, around 04:00, in the neighborhood "28 Nëntori", Vlorë, near the place called "Kapelja", citizen N. GJ., 63 years old, resident of Vlorë, allegedly lost control over driving a "Ford Fiesta" vehicle, as a result of which his vehicle collided with a parked vehicle (taxi), which during the displacement collided with 2 other parked vehicles.

Initially, it is suspected that the 63-year-old man lost control of the vehicle due to health reasons, then his vehicle collided with the taxi vehicle and as a result this citizen lost his life.

The dead body was transported to the morgue for a forensic examination to determine the cause of the loss of life. From the preliminary examination of the body, the forensic expert found no signs of violence.

The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, continues the work to fully clarify and document the circumstances of the event, as well as cooperating with the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Tirana, to determine the cause of the loss of life of the 63-year-old.
