Etleva did not succeed! Albanian woman in Italy dies 48 hours after her husband

She fought with all the strength she had in her body, but Etleva Bodi couldn't make it and after 48 hours, the doctors at San Paolo Hospital in Savona could do nothing but give up. Her husband, Selami Bodi, tried to strangle his wife, 31, and then called the emergency room when she was not breathing. Etleva Bodi managed to survive 48 hours and left behind four children.

On the day of the incident, the four children were sleeping in the rooms adjacent to their mother's bedroom. Now the 41-year-old Selami Bodi, arrested by the carabinieri of the provincial command of Savona led by company commander Fabio Truddaiu, is in prison in Marassi, accused of murder.

The attack happened shortly before midnight between Friday and Saturday, in an apartment in via Corridoni, in the Villapiana neighborhood. The couple's four children, aged 5 to 11, have already been entrusted to a relative.

How did the event happen?

The man and the woman start arguing because of the jealousy of the 41-year-old. She leaves him in the living room and goes to the bedroom. It is here that the 41-year-old man, who hears her talking on the phone, opens the door and attacks her. He yells at her and then attacks her. Only when his wife stops breathing does he let her go and call 911.

Medical personnel and the carabinieri arrive at the scene. The doctors found the Albanian lifeless on the floor and after 60 minutes in the resuscitation she started to breathe again. The operatives found the man, still next to the woman, who confessed through tears that he had tried to kill the woman.

The Albanian has no criminal records and there are no reports of violence from his wife. He himself admitted that in recent weeks the debates were more and more frequent.
