SPAK has imposed security measures against two other people besides former President Ilir Meta and MP Monika Kryemadhi.

Pirro Xixho was placed under house arrest in absentia, while Ema Çoku was ordered to appear.

Pirro Xixho is the father of Erisa Xixho, the vice-president of the Freedom Party.

Thus, MP Erisa Xixho also reacted. The latter describes Meta's arrest as an act that shames Albania, but does not mention the measure that was given to her father.

Erisa Djixho's reaction:

THE BANDIT ARREST OF ILIR META, AN ACT THAT SHAMES ALBANIA

Shameful and bandit terrorist act conceived by Prime Minister Edi Rama and executed by occult segments of the State Police against the former president of the Republic and the leader of the Freedom Party.

Such a middle-of-the-road show and political hostage-taking of the former Prime Minister and the former Speaker of the Assembly clearly shows that the police state is the face of this regime and the organized crime behind it.

Today was the next proof that justice is in the hands of Edi Rama, who uses it as a tool for revenge against political rivals.

The Freedom Party is not discouraged by such an attempt on democracy, but will increase its strength and determination to confront this criminal regime.
