The BBC has again devoted an entire article to the arrest of a young Albanian involved in cannabis cultivation in London.
According to the British media, a 23-year-old Albanian man has been arrested by the British authorities after he was caught in a " bar house " with a value of around £140,000.
John Hyseni , 23 years old, was the "farmer" who took care of the house with cannabis, which was divided into 3 rooms where 140 plants were cultivated.
Although the investigation shows that the Albanian was the last link in the chain, since according to his testimony he took care of the plants in exchange for housing and "pocket money".
Hyseni arrived in the UK in 2022 on a "dinghy" two years ago after leaving Albania due to gambling debts.
Hysen's defense lawyer said that the 23-year-old was forced to work in a "bar house" due to pressure, after he lost his construction job in Linder and then, as an illegal, he could not do another job. Out of desperation he agreed to work with cannabis.
"He accepts that he has gained nothing by coming to London and should have faced his problems head-on in Albania instead of running away from them," Thompson said, adding that it had been a "useful lesson".
After completing his sentence of one year and four months in prison, he will be deported.
