Gjin Guri, who was seriously injured in the assassination attempt where his father, Zef Guri, was killed in Dukagjin , has denied that the author of the crime is his cousin , Gjovalin Guri, as the police claimed.

" Shameful ", he considered the fact that the blue uniforms wanted his uncle's son as a suspected perpetrator.

Gjin Guri , from the Trauma Hospital, told News24 that his cousin has nothing to do with the incident and that the police should find the perpetrators.

Gjin Guri also tells how the incident happened while he was coming with his father from Shoshi towards Shkodra in this pickup truck when he was suddenly shot with an automatic machine by at least two people who were hiding in this part a few meters above the road while he deliberately deviated into the abyss to escape the barrage of bullets.

The injured Gjin Guri also gave this statement to the State Police , removing any possible doubt that the murder of his father Zef Guri was done by his cousin Gjovalin Guri and asking the police to find the real perpetrators.
