The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs has reacted regarding the tragic accident that happened yesterday evening in Venice.
According to MEFA, so far no Albanian citizen has been confirmed among the victims who lost their lives in the accident at the Vempa overpass.
The Ministry writes that Albania expresses its condolences to the families who lost their loved ones, as well as wishes a speedy recovery to those injured in the tragic accident.
"Deeply saddened by the news of the tragic accident in Mestre. Albania expresses its most sincere condolences to the families who lost their loved ones. Our thoughts and prayers are with them. We wish a speedy recovery to those injured in this tragic accident", reads the reaction of the Albanian Foreign Ministry.
From the investigations so far, it is suspected that the cause of the crash of the bus from the Rizzard overpass was the poor health of the driver.
