The director of the 9-year-old school "Ali Demi" and member of the Municipal Council of Tirana, Dorina Kuka, passed away at a young age. She had been suffering for years from a serious illness, which she could not overcome, closing her eyes forever at the age of 35.

The news of her death was announced by the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, through a post on social networks.

"Bitter is the departure from the life of our good colleague, Dorina Kuka - teacher, mother, activist and exemplary member of the Municipal Council!

Her generous contribution to the good works of this city will remain! My deepest condolences to the family!" writes Veliaj.

For two consecutive years, Dorina Kuka was operated on and treated for a tumor mass in her chest. After the battle with the breast tumor, she was examined with a tumor mass on her head, making her health worse.

Kuka went to Italy for a more specialized treatment, but he could not overcome the serious illness.
