Four officials of the Tirana Police in the police station no. 1 have been put under investigation by the Police Supervision Agency in connection with constructions without permission.
In the administrative investigation, there is the Chief of Police Station No. 1, Bujar Mehmeti, Flamur Sula, head of the police station in Farka, the crime inspector, Alban Rama, as well as Nazmi Kareci with specialist duties.
The investigation against them comes after the discovery of the mansion of businessman Jualin Morina at Lake Dry, which was built entirely without permission and has already been blocked.
According to the AMP, the officials had information about the unauthorized constructions in the Dry Lake area and in Farka, but did not intervene to stop the works.
These investigations come after the accusations of Prime Minister Edi Rama, who said that there are policemen and chiefs of police stations who have allowed buildings to be built without permission.
