The Special Court (GJKKO) has today sentenced Festim Bexhdili to life imprisonment, accused of the kidnapping resulting in the death of Jan Prenga, in January 2020
Festim Bixhdili worked as a gardener in the "Golden" complex and has previously told the court that on January 17 he was called by Altin Hajri to pick up a dead body in a white van.
Bixhdili has shown that he left in a white van and a few kilometers from the resort, he handed over the dead body to Altin Hajri and a member of the Doçi family from Shkodra. Afterwards, he said that he returned to the resort and handed over the van.
The body of 49-year-old Jan Prenga has not yet been found by the police.
According to SPAK, the kidnapping of Prenga was due to the theft of a quantity of cocaine that had arrived from Ecuador in the British port of Portsmouth.
Investigators also believe that Festim Bexhdili knows the place where Jan Prenga may have been buried.
