Shortly after 21:30 on Saturday night, in the "Kato Patisia" neighborhood of Athens, there was a gun fight between two Albanian groups, where 7 people were involved, 3 of whom were killed by the shots that terrorized the Greek capital.

In addition to the three Albanians left dead, two Greek policemen are also hospitalized in Athens, out of danger for their lives, after they were shot by a 48-year-old Albanian who tried to escape.

Meanwhile, in the areas where the clashes with firearms took place on Sunday morning, according to the Greek media, an unprecedented calmness was observed, while the witnesses also recounted the moments of panic. "We panicked. We heard a lot of noise, we went out to the balcony and went down to see what was happening. I carefully opened the door downstairs and saw a fat guy in a yellow shirt with a pistol in his hand, but I couldn't continue because I was afraid," the witness told newsit.gr.

The eyewitness at the scene where the Mercedes crushed the 23-year-old Albanian to death after the clash of two groups with guns tells me further: "Then some friends put him in the car and left. In the alley near where I live, we saw a guy being dragged and they said someone drove over him and ran over him. We saw him bleeding."

Regarding the scene, from the photos and videos published by the Greek media, you can see the alley where the blood of the victims has not yet been removed. Meanwhile, in other images, a pistol-type weapon can be seen lying on the ground, even the bodies of the victims, while the windows of some of the surrounding businesses are broken.

The notification of the Athens police about the event:

"Regarding an event that happened yesterday in Patisia, where as a result 3 foreigners (48, 46 and 23 years old) were fatally injured, a foreigner (43 years old) was arrested and 2 police officers are being treated for injury to GSNA. 401, it is announced as follows:

Yesterday evening in the area of ​​Patisia, a 48-year-old foreigner driving a car, with a 43-year-old foreigner as a passenger, shot at a group of foreigners, then dragged one of them (23 years old).

The 23-year-old was dragged, while the 48-year-old escaped on foot and at gunpoint, took a car from the passing driver and headed towards the Akarni area.

Afterwards, he entered a health care store and took a sum of money from the owner at gunpoint. Leaving the store, he was spotted by police officers, who tried to check him.

The 48-year-old man, in front of the policemen, shot at them, injuring one in the chest and leg and the second in the leg. In this context, the police responded to the fire by injuring him to death.

So far, two pistols, 3 cars and a motorcycle have been seized and five other people have been arrested and are being interrogated.

Investigations are ongoing and there will be an update once completed. A preliminary investigation is being carried out by the Directorate of Security of Attica".
