A serious incident occurred this afternoon near Tegu in Tirana, as a person is suspected of having jumped from the height of a building and died.

Police say the victim has been identified as a citizen with the initials LK, 58 years old.

Preliminary investigations show that the 58-year-old man was suffering from mental health issues and it is suspected that he jumped from a height as a result of depression.

"On 19.01.2025, near Tegu, it is suspected that citizen LK, 58 years old, committed suicide by jumping from the height of a building, and died in hospital.
