The Vlora police are still questioning people regarding the murder that occurred on the Fier-Vlora highway, near the village of Novoselë. The investigative group continues to examine security cameras in the subjects that were equipped.
Meanwhile, the police are monitoring the movements of vehicles that were in use in the early hours of the morning throughout the day when the murder occurred. Sources indicate that the police suspect that the shooters are from Vlora or were assisted by people who know the area well, given the dynamics of the incident, from the theft of the police officer's license plates and their subsequent use in the assassination to the escape of the perpetrators.
The cameras of one of the fuel businesses show the moment when two vehicles, the victim and the perpetrators, pass by. The perpetrators followed the victim and then shot him while approaching him with their lights on. In the testimonies collected by the investigative group of witnesses, initially a shot was heard and then several more.
The perpetrators' vehicle, with its signal on, approached the car driven by Kristian Marku and then shot at it. The brakes and the tires of the vehicles on the highway were heard, while the vehicle driven by Kristian Marku then coasted, colliding with the traffic divider.
According to the investigation group, it is believed that if the theft of the license plate is revealed, it will be even easier for the investigation to unravel the incident. However, the investigation group notes that the killing of vehicles on the move cannot be carried out by people who are inexperienced in that field since the killing requires concentration and precision at the moment the cars are moving. Meanwhile, cameras are also being taken to businesses that are in the Novosela Administrative Unit to see if the perpetrators' vehicle has been circulating in the area.
