A 12-year-old boy lost his life this evening in a serious accident that occurred on the road that connects Fishta with the Lezhë-Shkodra highway.

The minor was riding a scooter when he was hit by an Audi vehicle.

After the collision, the Audi vehicle left the road and ended up in the canal.

The 12-year-old was rushed to the hospital, but could not survive his injuries and died on the way.

Police services have arrived at the scene, and have launched investigations to fully clarify the circumstances and dynamics of the accident.

The driver of the vehicle has been escorted by police, while investigations continue to determine the causes of the accident.
