Valmir Lame's father

Valmir Lame was found drowned this afternoon in a reservoir in Korça, a few days after he was declared missing by his family.

The 54-year-old's father spoke to the media, indicating that in recent months his son had presented health problems and had experienced severe headaches, for which he was being examined.

But while he was talking to reporters, he also witnessed the tragic moment when rescuers found and retrieved his son's lifeless body, reports journalist Dhorjela Çule.

"The boy lived with me. He didn't have any problems, but he also had headaches and I took him to the emergency hospital every two to three days. I took him by taxi, I paid 20 thousand lek. The ambulance came here, gave him a sedative. I took him there, they wouldn't hold him, they gave him a sedative and we left.

I also have the scanner and the tests. I was going to take him in almost three months, on February 6th, a doctor gave me an urgent appointment to do it and then I was going to take him to Tirana. I have 25 days, I could have taken him urgently 5-6 times. The last contact I had was with me", said the father.
