The two Ukrainian women were found dead by their friend in the apartment,

Two Ukrainian citizens were found dead in the apartment on Rruga e Durres by their roommate at noon today.

It is suspected that the victims, Antonina Kozachenko and Anastasia Lopukhova from Ukraine, have overdosed on drugs containing narcotic substances.

Their dead bodies were found by their roommate around 13:35 in the apartment where they were staying near Selvie area.

"On 10.05.2024, around 1:35 p.m., on Dibra Street, in the apartment, Ukrainian citizens AK, 25 years old, and AL, 40 years old, were found by their roommate, without signs of life," the police reported.

The investigation team was set up together with DNA and Biological Expertise experts at the Scientific Police Institute who are at the scene and are working to clarify the circumstances of the event.
