Horse drugs from Rinas in Turkey, AMP interrogates the officers of the shift
Florenc Bicerri

New details have been revealed from the investigations into the arrests in Turkey of the officer, Florenc Bicerri, the former commando Kujtim Çeliku and Adrian Qiriçit.

The mystery still continues as to how 32 kg of drugs passed through Rinas airport. It is known that the officers of the Border and Security Police of Rinas will be interrogated by the Police Supervision Agency in connection with these investigations.

Rinas employees are expected to be questioned about how they allowed Bicerri to pass along with two suitcases filled with cannabis. It is not known if there is any possibility of cooperation between the officers who were on duty and the arrested persons.

Bicerri left on October 5 and did not report to work after the end of his annual leave and was put under a disciplinary investigation. He was detained in Istanbul and the check at the airport revealed that he had filled the two suitcases he had taken with him with 31 kilograms of cannabis. After Bicerri, Kujtim Çeliku and Adrian Qirici were imprisoned.

Çelik has carried out 5 NATO peacekeeping missions in Afghanistan and Iraq, but in 2011, he was arrested for stealing 176 gold rings in Durrës. Investigations continue for the involvement of other persons in drug trafficking.
