Raul Esteban Calderon , nicknamed " Argentine ", arrested in December 2021, accused of killing the leader of Lazio's ultra fans, Fabrizio Piscitelli in August 2019, was raped in prison.
The attack occurred less than a month after the arrest of the Argentine for the murder of " Diablo ".
According to the Italian media, the confirmation of the incident comes from the testimony of the Chief Inspector of the Prison Police and the Head of the Rebibbia High Security Operative Unit.
"An officer reported to me that on January 9, 2022, an event occurred that disrupted the order during training on the sports field. The next day, the footage from the video system was seen."
The inspector says that in the morning Calderon was attending a football match. When suddenly one of the prisoners broke away from the group and started hitting the Argentine with several punches. Calderon tried to defend himself, but two other people joined him.
But Calderon said nothing when called in for questioning, even though his head was bandaged and his face was bruised and scarred. He even refused to go to the doctor.
After the episode, he was transferred to another prison. The attackers were identified through a comparison between the prison videos and other images, the police explained: they were Dorian Petoku , already on the run, and two other Albanians.
