Fires in Dropull

The rains started a few moments ago in the Dropulli area, amid the hope that they will put out the fires that have been scorching the area for several days.

It is the Minister of the Interior Taulant Balla who gives the news about the start of the rain, while in the background the hills engulfed by the flames can still be seen.

During the following night, there were also fires in the villages near the city of Delvina, as well as in the Muzina pass.

To extinguish the fires in Dropull, two special planes from Greece were also deployed yesterday.
