Tensions are reported in the north of Kosovo, while the implementation of the government's plan to remove the old Serbian license plates is still ongoing.
The police announced that another vehicle was burned in Zubin Potok.
The car, which had changed the license plates in the RKS, was the property of a person from the Kosovo Serb community.
The authorities stress the dedication to the discovery of the perpetrators of this crime, but also of other arsons aimed at vehicles that have changed license plates at the RKS.
Regarding this event, the American ambassador in Kosovo, Jeff Hovenier, reacted, who condemned the destruction of private property, considering it an attempt to intimidate those who receive new RKS license plates.
"These are cowardly and criminal acts," the diplomat wrote on Twitter. Hovenier reiterates the US request for a complete postponement of the Kurti government's decision for 12 months, although he considers the request to remove the old Serbian license plates to be fair.
