A man from Kosovo is being accused that he and his sons for 16 years have mistreated four women by keeping them as slaves in their house in Switzerland. For over a decade and a half, it was not discovered. But now the father and his four sons will face justice next week.
They will appear before the regional court in Moutier, Bern. According to the indictment, he had bought girls between the ages of 14 and 17 as "wives" for his sons, bringing them from the Balkans to Switzerland. According to the report of the Swiss newspaper "Blick", the victims were mistreated and kept as slaves for 16 years.
The first girl, who was brought from Albania in 2003, was only 17 years old. As the newspaper reports, she had seen her husband only through the photograph. Meanwhile, a 14-year-old girl was reportedly sold by her parents for only 300 euros, due to the difficult conditions.

The victim was promised a better life. But, apparently, all this turned out to be a trap. They were physically beaten and even threatened with death. According to the indictment, one of them would have to wash the feet of the brothers-in-law. It is said that the boys received all the directives from their father.
Even the "father-in-law" had beaten them over 20 times with a belt, the man from Kosovo noted that he had beaten one of the victims until she bled even though she was pregnant. The charges have been denied by the defendants./KlanKosova
