Fire in the massif of chestnuts in Tropoja

MP Isuf Çelaj has announced on social networks that the fire has engulfed the massif of chestnut trees in the villages of Gri and Geghysen in Tropoja and is also endangering homes.

Çelaj called on the institutions to intervene quickly to make it possible to bring the situation under control.

"Today a big fire has engulfed the chestnut massif of the villages of Gri and Geghysen and is completely destroying the crown of chestnut forests, endangering the homes of the residents of these villages located near these massifs! So far, we have not received any response from the institutions, starting from the Municipality, the Prefecture and the State Agency of Civil Emergencies under the Ministry of Defense! My call goes to these institutions to intervene quickly to make it possible to bring the situation under control and to investigate the cause of this arson", writes Isuf Çelaj on Facebook.
