A 35-year-old man in Gjirokaster has been arrested after exercising physical and psychological violence against his wife.

This is not the only case of domestic violence in Gjirokastër, as a 45-year-old man will be prosecuted in a free condition because he has committed psychological violence against his co-host.

Procedurale materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of first instance of the General Jurisdiction gjirokastër, for further actions

"Specialists of the Crime Investigation Section of the Police Commissioner Gjirokastër, after the reports received for 2 cases of domestic violence, arrested in flagrant the citizen E.K., 35, resident in Gjirokastër, after physically and psychologically violating his wife;

As well as from these structures were referred materials to the Prosecution Office, where the free proceedings for citizen Mr. J., 45, residing in Libohova, after he psychologically violated his wife," the police notice reads.
