Five Syrian migrants and one Algerian man have been jailed by the Kukes Court after firing a gun at the Albanian police.

The serious event occurred three months ago on the border with Kosovo, when Albanian officials spotted illegal migrants, but the latter responded by firing a gun at them.

During the attempted arrest, a police officer was injured in the leg.

Today was the deadline of the exhaustion of the prison sentence for the three-month period, while the Prosecution of Kukes requested the provision of the arrest, prison without term.
