Tonin Ndoj, the father of Amarildo, one of those injured in the shooting in Laç , has spoken about the serious incident that took the life of a 24-year-old.
The young man's father says his son is in serious condition and is expected to undergo surgery.
Ndoj added that he learned about the incident through the media and that he was not aware of a conflict involving his son. According to him, the son had left the apartment 5 minutes earlier and he intervened to separate the people involved in the conflict.
"The boy is in serious condition, we are waiting for him to be operated on. He had left the house for 5 minutes, he was caught without doing anything. He entered to separate the others, there was no fight with anyone. I was not aware of any quarrel or problem that he had. We heard it on TV as an event, my wife told me after they injured Aldon. That's all we know, nothing more. The boy was with Klevis Ndreca. At these moments we have nothing to say, please save our boy ," he said.
The injured Daniel Gjeloshi, Liridon Ismailaj and Angjelina Ndoj are reported to be out of danger and will continue treatment at the University Trauma Hospital in Tirana.
According to sources, the young people had a verbal conflict because they caught each other's mirrors while driving.
The verbal conflict escalated 5 minutes later to the use of pistols. They agreed to meet and clarify things a little further down the road where the incident occurred. As soon as they stopped and got out, Ndreca started shooting.
Ndreca and Gjeloshi fired at each other. Klevis Ndreca fired at three other young men, leaving them wounded.
His friend Amarildo Ndoj and the street vendor were also accidentally injured by gunfire.
Daniel Gjeloshi also responded with a pistol, but did not injure anyone.
It is also learned that the weapon that was found a few meters from the scene belongs to 26-year-old Daniel Gjeloshi.
It is reported that Klevis Ndreca surrendered to the police after the incident, where he also handed over the crime weapon.
In his preliminary testimony, Ndreca stated that he fired a gun at the young men because he was scared after, according to him, he saw that they had weapons.
