Florenc Çapja , who is accused of ordering the murder of Sokol Sanxhaktari, the son-in-law of former mayor Qazim Sejdini, has denied any connection to the incident.

He has stated that he has no acquaintance with Nuredin Duman, the contract killer turned fugitive from justice, who implicated him in the incident.

"Why did you make this up with Nuredin about Sanxhatari? Take Nuredin Dumani's testimony in court as evidence, I didn't ask him for anything about Sokol Sanxhatari," said the 44-year-old, who was extradited from Dubai on May 2.

He added: " I don't know Nuredin Duman at all ."

He also addressed the black squads: " Why do you pretend that you have extradited me? They did not extradite me, I came on my own, I was free in Istanbul and I could have left . "
