Dani and the AMP agent had just returned from Barcelona, new footage from
Gilmando Dani / Assassination

Gilmando Dani and the AMP agent had just returned from Barcelona to Rinas airport when they fell victim to a gun attack.

The Kalashnikov barrage just a few meters from the terminal of Albania's most important entry gate left Dani dead on the spot, while Muçi Shaljani (Sheqeri) was seriously injured. The latter has been on probation as an AMP agent for a month and a half.

The bullets also hit the window of a business located in this highly populated area, fortunately without causing injuries.

The plane that brought Dani and Shaljani landed in Tirana at 2:00 PM, while the assassination took place just 15 minutes later. Their car, a Mercedes with the license plate "AB 099UO", was not armored.

In the new footage, the moment of transporting the lifeless body of Dani and the injured, Shaljani, who is in serious condition, is seen.
