The Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM) has reacted to the reported problems and interventions in TIMS systems in the State Police.

In the official response, IDM expresses concern about the recently reported intervention

"We emphasize that this is not the first breach of the security of personal and sensitive data of citizens in Albania, where even earlier IDM has joined the concern of international organizations", the reaction says.

The Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM) expresses its deep concern regarding the recently reported intrusion into the TIMS systems of the State Police.

We emphasize that this is not the first breach of the security of personal and sensitive data of citizens in Albania, where IDM has joined the concern of international organizations even earlier.

Ne inkurajojmë zhvillimin e hetimeve të plota dhe të gjithanshme nga institucionet përkatëse. Njëkohësisht, IDM i bën thirrje Kuvendit të Shqipërisë të ndërmarrë hapat e nevojshëm për forcimin e mbikëqyrjes parlamentare ndaj institucioneve të sigurisë dhe inkurajojmë veprime konkrete për shqyrtimin e plotë të përgjegjësive institucionale lidhur me shkeljet e përsëritura dhe parandalimin e tyre në të ardhmen.
