Two weeks after the Spanish authorities found the remains of Sibora Gegani, who was killed by her lover, DNA analyzes prove that the body found belongs to the 22-year-old Albanian. The judicial authorities, this Wednesday, have communicated the DNA answers to the Gegani family, after the expertise they underwent at the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Malaga.

"The DNA tests, after being compared with the samples taken from the found body, correspond without a doubt to Sibora Gagan", they say.

The Spanish media write that the authorities will now follow all the steps so that the family of Sibora Gegani can repatriate the young woman's body to Albania. After about 9 years from the murder in 2014 in Spain, the authorities managed to find the remains of Sibora Gegani in the apartment where she lived with her ex-boyfriend, Marco Remeo, who is also her killer.

The discovery of her remains comes after the testimony given by the author, who, after his arrest in May, testified that he killed Sibora Gegani and walled her in the wall of the apartment. The remains of the 22-year-old Albanian were found on June 7 of this year in a plastic bag inside a wall in the apartment in Malaga where the couple lived.

Sibora Gagani moved into a flat with the Italian on the Costa del Sol in 2011 and disappeared on July 7, 2014. At the time, Gagani was 22 years old and working as a waitress in the town of Costa del Sol.
