Daily Mail: Advertising gangs on Tik Tok, trips by truck and plane for 18

The British tabloid "Daily Mail" has today again dedicated a long article to Albanians who enter Great Britain by choosing illegal routes.

In the article, the Daily Mail writes that the Albanian gangs have resumed advertising illegal trips by truck for 18 thousand pounds per person, while adding that "the gangs boast of 100% success".

Daily Mail article:

Ahead of a crackdown on smugglers arriving in small boats, criminals demand up to £18,000 a head but boast a '100 per cent success rate'.

Unlike the small boats that are caught by lifeboats and handed over to Border Force officials, truck migrants disappear as soon as they arrive. This means they avoid detention and a possible quick return to Albania.

Although unlikely to begin until the spring, the fast-track removal deal agreed by former interior secretary Priti Patel and her Albanian counterpart has forced traffickers to change tactics.

A TikTok post from an account called 'truck trip' read: 'Tomorrow morning trip from Belgium. 100 percent success.'

An undercover Mail reporter who messaged the account learned that the trip for two would cost £26,000. The smuggler added: ' You will start your journey from Belgium. We will send a taxi to take you to your destination. We have a trip next week .'

He confirmed that the driver was part of the traffic and would hide them in the truck. Another post offered migrants the chance to sit in a taxi by posing as a co-driver.

It said: "Anyone who is in Belgium or France write to me. 18 thousand pounds to the UK. Our last night's journey was a success.'

A third advertiser said: 'Today is our next ride in the cab of a truck. Serious people who are in Belgium or France should write to me. We are fair and this is our success. If you have a friend suggest our site.'

Another people smuggler included pictures of Big Ben and the Tower Bridge while offering to sit next to the driver in a taxi for £18,000. The ad said: ' Don't deal with a middleman. With us, arrive today and leave tomorrow .'
