An employee of the Electricity Service Operator (OSHEE) has been arrested for corruption by the Tirana police in the framework of the operation coded "Profit".

Citizen Bujar Llakaj , 46 years old, resident in Tirana, was put in handcuffs  for the criminal offense "Passive corruption of persons exercising public functions".

"From the investigative actions, it has emerged that the 46-year-old man, while exercising his duties as an employee of OSHEE, installed electricity meters for citizens, in various premises, against significant rewards." it is said in the announcement of the blues of the capital.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office of the Judicial District of Tirana, for further actions.
