Britain summons Russian ambassador after rocket attack on British Council

UK Foreign Secretary David Lamy has summoned the Russian ambassador to London to express concern and condemn the latest attacks that Russia carried out overnight in Kiev.

These attacks killed at least 18 people, four of them children, and damaged important buildings, including the British Council and the European Union delegation in the Ukrainian capital.

In a post on the social network X, Lamy said that "President Vladimir Putin last night killed civilians, destroyed homes and damaged buildings that represent international relations and European cooperation."
