A 42-year-old man has been extradited from Italy to our country with the security measure " prison arrest ", accused of threatening a judge in Lushnja, as well as protesting and engaging in shameful actions in front of the Supreme Court.

He is Hajrulla Xhivini , whose name was also included in the list of candidates for Director General of the State Police, before Ilir Proda was elected.

42-year-old Xhavini is accused of repeatedly threatening a judge of the Lushnja Administrative Court via mobile phone in February 2024 .

Likewise, he has also protested in front of the Supreme Court in the capital, committing shameful acts, for which he is accused of disturbing the public peace.

"A citizen who, during February 2024, repeatedly threatened, due to his duty, the judge of the Lushnja Administrative Court, is being extradited from Italy. As a result of the cooperation of Interpol Tirana with Interpol Rome, within the framework of the operation "The Wanted", for the capture of citizens on international search and their extradition, the procedures for the extradition from Italy of citizen H. Xh., 42 years old, resident of Tirana, were finalized. The First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Tirana, in 2024, assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Threat due to duty" and "Disturbance of public peace". Citizen H. Xh. is accused of having repeatedly threatened, via mobile phone, due to his duty, citizen EL, a judge of the Lushnja Administrative Court, and protested before the Supreme Court", the police announce. 

Meanwhile, another person has been extradited to Albania from Germany.

He is Brian Syzo, 34 years old. He has a security measure of arrest in prison from the Korça Court for selling doses of cocaine in Pogradec .

"Also, as a result of cooperation with German counterparts, the extradition from Germany of Albanian citizen BS, 34 years old, was finalized. The First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Korça has assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the criminal offense "Production and sale of narcotics". Citizen BS is accused of selling doses of cocaine in the city of Pogradec," the police statement said.
