The police have provided details of the long operation in which two employees of the Inspectorate of Territorial Protection (IMT) in Tirana were arrested , while another was declared wanted.

Four IMT employees have discovered an unauthorized tent in a building in the Kombinat area.

After completing the procedure, telling the owner that the tent was unauthorized and would be demolished, one of them returned and asked the owner for 1,000 euros not to demolish it. The owner notified the police, who organized an operation to catch the inspectors red-handed.

Geraldo Fuçia has currently been arrested, while Klajdi Zhilla has been declared wanted.

The other two employees, Edmond Cela and Niko Zmalaj , were released after they were not involved according to the footage.

Both arrested are suspected of passive corruption.

During the operation, the following were seized: 3,000 euros and 27,000 lekë , suspected of being bribes; an Audi A6 vehicle; 4 mobile phones.
