The boycott of the pedagogues continues, while they demand that their demands addressed to the Ministry of Education and the government be fulfilled.

Sandër Kovaçi, head of the teachers' union, has warned that if the demands are not met, they will go on a hunger strike.

" Being in these conditions when there was no reaction until now, we came to the stage of a boycott so far, and now we have sent a request to the government to create a communication bridge. 

We don't want to use the last variant, that of a strike, but it can be used to put the right pressure on the authorities to react constructively and understand the importance of this boycott.

We call on everyone to be present for changes in public higher education. We call that in the process of increasing the financial initiative, the administrative academic staffs are not excluded. We request that 30% be also for the academic staff. We ask that student fees be used for students.

I emphasize that scientific research is essential in Higher Education. It is on alert. So we are not going to the last stage of the hunger strike, it is a request of some trade unionists, but if there is really no reaction we can go to this stage as well ", he said.
