SPAK has questioned the director of the Treasury, Elmira Peto. The news is reported by reliable sources of Top Channel journalist, Anila Hoxha.

Peto is currently in the Special Prosecution Office, because he has been asked by the prosecutor in the case to bring the written practice regarding the salary freeze.

Peto is being questioned as a declarant.

According to proceeding number 100, the withholding of salaries is being investigated on charges of abuse of office and obstruction of execution of a court decision, such as the February 2026 decision of the Constitutional Court.
