A serious incident was made public today, where a 12-year-old girl was allegedly sexually abused by her cousin and aunt. Both people have been arrested by the Tirana Police, under suspicion of the criminal offenses of "Sexual relations with minors", "Incest" and "Pornography".

Klan News journalist Glidona Daci provided more details about this serious event on the show "Rudina".

Daci claimed that he was at the Tirana Police Department, in an attempt to obtain more information, however, due to preserving the minor's anonymity and the sensitivity of the case, the authorities have been reserved in providing details.

"According to the information we have, the 12-year-old girl unwittingly posted one of the materials that allegedly contained pornographic images in one of the chat groups she had with her friends. Fearing that this footage could be distributed to other people, she first contacted the school psychologist, who, immediately alarmed, notified the guardianship office and then the girl's parents, as well as the police structures."

The journalist stated that immediately after the alert, law enforcement agencies made it possible to escort the girl to the police station, in the presence of her parents and a psychologist. There, she was interrogated for long hours, with the assistance of the psychologist.

"It was possible to interrogate her through a psychologist, where they later discovered information that shocked even the investigators themselves. All those involved in the case are in a state of shock from what they have managed to see. Initially, the investigators, from what they have found, have traced her aunt's son, who is 29 years old. His identity has not been disclosed, because it could lead to the identification of the girl."

During the investigation, authorities allegedly discovered other pornographic materials, raising suspicions about the involvement of the 12-year-old's aunt. For this reason, according to the journalist, it was possible to escort and arrest her.

According to Daci, the incident is suspected to have started about three months ago. From the information so far, it is not suspected that the two people involved had any connection between them in the serious act committed against the minor girl.

"The matter is still under investigation and perhaps further verifications and detailed examination of the suspects' phones may yield data that could prove another relationship, that of the 29-year-old man and the 32-year-old woman."

She also revealed that the abuses occurred at different times and in different places.
