A 19-year-old Albanian man has been convicted in the UK after attempting to import firearms from the US and was also involved in criminal drug activity.
This is about Henri Nicoll , who was sentenced to 6 years and 3 months in prison by British justice.
According to the investigation, the young man had ordered a package from the US disguised as a “ dog training kit ”, but which actually contained a 9mm pistol and firearms equipment. The package was discovered by US authorities and blocked.
Nicholl was arrested in April 2025 in Hertfordshire, while a search of his flat uncovered a dangerous arsenal: three antique firearms modified for modern ammunition; ammunition and tools for adapting the weapons, and knives and other dangerous equipment.
Also, a "weed house" was discovered in the apartment, with equipment for cultivating cannabis, as well as quantities of drugs ready for distribution.
The prosecution argued that the 19-year-old had created an organized criminal activity, using weapons to support the drug trade and seriously endangering public safety.
Investigators added that he had advanced knowledge of modifying and using weapons, while videos of weapons being tested in public places were also found on his devices.
British authorities said his conviction was a blow to organised crime and a clear message to anyone involved in arms and drug trafficking./ NCA
