PROFILE/ Rama gave the "OK", who is the new Chief of Police of
Skender Hita

The new Director General of the State Police, Skënder Hita , is considered one of the most experienced leaders in the ranks of the blues.

His career has been built in some of the most important regions of the country, as well as in key structures directly related to the fight against crime and ensuring public order.

Over the years, Hita has held a number of leadership positions in areas with significant security challenges, including Shkodra.

The experience in this district, where he also served as deputy director of criminal investigation, is considered one of the most important stages in the formation of his professional profile.

Shkodra has historically been a problematic area for order and security, requiring constant coordination between operational and investigative structures.

Another important phase in his career is related to leading the Police in Durrës, one of the most sensitive regions of the country due to the largest port in Albania, high economic activity and the large flow of movement of people and goods.

Leading the police in this area requires extensive experience in managing anti-crime operations and coordinating field structures.

During this period, several serious criminal incidents were also uncovered.

One of the most important cases is related to the unraveling of the brothers Indrit and Gentjan Beqiraj , whose testimony helped shed light on several criminal events in Durrës, Tirana and other areas of the country.

In his professional profile, it is also notable that throughout his career in the State Police, Hita's name has not been rumored for links to crime or criminal groups.

He has never been mentioned in the context of drug cultivation or other illegal activities, maintaining a clean profile and a stable professional reputation.

Recently, for about a year and a half under the leadership of the Fier Police, the region has experienced reduced levels of crime.
