An Albanian who traveled with a stolen passport that he bought on TikTok has been sentenced to six months in prison while trying to fly to Dublin.

Jurgen Quku, 23, was brought before the court accused of using a passport that was given to another person.

Quku was arrested at the airport after immigration officials noticed that the accused was trying to use another man's passport to board a flight to Dublin.

Quku told the police that he had left Albania and crossed to Greece on foot due to the travel ban. After a week in Greece, he bought a stolen Dutch passport from a seller on TikTok and used it to travel to Malta.

Therefore, the court ordered that he return to Albania immediately after serving his sentence.
