Saimir Taullau, former OFL subject, and Lorenc Lala were called to testify in the Special Court in connection with the investigation into the double murder of Jurgen Hoxha and Zenel Latif in Lushnje in 2017.

The prosecution requested that their statements not be used as the witnesses have changed their stance.

At the hearing, several sequences of film footage taken from the business of the two witnesses were shown before the jury, where it turns out that the murder took place.

Taullau and Lala at no time denied that Laert Haxhiu or Orgest Bilbili, accused of the crime, appeared in the footage, while they identified some of the people who visited the gas station and the bar on the day of the event.

The prosecutor, Doloresa Musabelliu, asked for the dismissal of Saimir Taullaut's testimony, because there are inconsistencies in the two statements given at different times.

According to the indictment, this inconsistency consists in knowing the persons who visited the business that day and whom the prosecution suspects are involved in the crime.

On the other hand, Samiri Taullau claims that the first time these images appeared, they were in black and white, which made it impossible to identify the persons.

Another contradiction according to the prosecution is that in the first testimony, Taullau stated that after the incident he sent people to the family of the victim Zamir Latif to show that he had nothing to do with the murder, while at the hearing he did not admit such a fact.

The other witness, Lorenc Lala, who turns out to be a manager in Taullaut's business, said that he knew Laert Haxhiu and Orgest Bilbil, but they were not there at any time on the day of the event.

GJKKO has sentenced to life imprisonment Orgest Bilbil and Anterio Kaloshi, found guilty of the murder of Zamir Latif and Jurgen Hoxha, as well as the wounding of Bujar Turku and Marius Xhepexhi, in Lushnje in 2017.
