Sunday's tragic balance: 5 accidents with 22 injured in a few hours
Scenes from accidents

Sunday morning recorded a tragic balance of accidents where in just a few hours there were 5 accidents with 22 injured on the country's roads.

The most serious event was recorded on the National Road, where a car with Serbian license plates carrying 5 members of a family collided with the traffic divider and went off the road. As a result, all 5 people were injured, among them 3 children and a husband and wife who are receiving health services at the Rrëshen hospital. It is learned that the family was coming for vacation in Albania, while in advance it is suspected that the cause of the accident was the speed exceeding the allowed norms.

Another serious accident was registered in Fier this Sunday morning. From the collision of two vehicles, 10 people were injured, two of whom, a 25-year-old and a 56-year-old, are receiving more specialized help in the hospital due to more serious injuries.

Meanwhile, two accidents were registered in Dibra District with 6 injured.

In the place called "Plan i Bardhë", on Rruga e Arbri, it collided with the protective wall on the side of the road and as a result the driver of the car and 3 passengers were injured.

Meanwhile, in Shkopet, a vehicle went off the road and as a result the driver and the passenger traveling with him were injured.

Even in Korça, a person who was riding a motorcycle was injured after being hit by a car with a 74-year-old driver.

Climatic conditions seem to have influenced the high numbers of road accidents, this is because some of them are suspected to have come as a result of the humidity on the road. This is the reason that was noticed during the afternoon of Saturday, when two accidents were recorded on the Korçë-Pogradec axis with 12 injured.
