"Belinda Balluku focuses on the monstrous theft", Freedom Party: Left

The Secretary General of the Freedom Party, Tedi Blushi , accuses the Minister of Energy, Belinda Balluku, of theft and corruption.

Through a statement to the media, Blushi, referring to the electricity outage yesterday evening in several cities of the country, said that " the terrible criminal corruption in the energy sector led by Belinda Balluku shone last night like sunlight with the immersion of more than half of the country in total darkness, with serious consequences for household and national economies ."

Blushi underlined that last evening's outage was a second outage that occurred after the June "blackout".

The General Secretary of the PL said that although millions of euros of Albanian taxes have been spent on investments in the energy network with the 'Tigri 1' and 'Tigri 2' TPPs, Albanians continue to experience electricity outages, even though the dams are full.

"This second outage, which occurs after the June "blackout", in conditions when the dams are full, when millions of euros of Albanian taxes have been spent on electoral investments in the energy network, when hundreds of millions of euros continue to be consumed by "Tigri 1" and "Tigri 3" (two floating TECs in Vlora) that not only have not produced but will never produce a single kilowatt of energy for the benefit of family consumers, proves that the sole focus of Edi Rama and Belinda Balluku is monstrous theft and not guaranteeing energy to citizens", said Blushi.

The horrific criminal corruption in the energy sector led by Belinda Balluku shone like sunlight last night, plunging more than half of the country into total darkness, with serious consequences for household and national economies.

This second outage, which occurs after the June "blackout", in conditions when the dams are full, when millions of euros of Albanian taxes have been spent on electoral investments in the energy network, when hundreds of millions of euros continue to be consumed by "Tigri 1" and "Tigri 3" (two floating TECs in Vlora) that not only have not produced but will never produce a single kilowatt of energy for the benefit of household consumers, proves that the sole focus of Edi Rama and Belinda Balluku is monstrous theft and not guaranteeing energy to citizens.

They are so focused that even the theft is concentrated only within the government cabinet, as proven by the fact that all corrupt tenders for improving the energy network in Vlora, Durrës and Shkodra are won by the brother of the Minister of Interior, Ervin Hoxha.

Korrupsioni do të vijojë për sa kohë nuk respektohet kodi i transmetimit dhe kodi i shpërndarjes, nuk respektohen planet e zhvillimit të miratuara nga ERE për sistemin e transmetimit dhe shpërndarjes si dhe për sa kohë do të zhvillohen projekte klienteliste që u shërbejnë interesave që rrezikojnë sigurinë e furnizimit me energji elektrike për popullatën dhe shërbimet jetike të saj.

Përballë kësaj situate shumë të rëndë, që provon se në 12 vite keqqeverisje të “Rilindjes” sektori energjitik është trajtuar si plaçkë për të pasuruar në mënyrë të paligjshme Edi Ramën, Belinda Ballakun dhe zyrtarët e lartë të “Rilindjes”, në kushtet kur furnizimi me energji elektrike është rikthyer në periudhat më të errëta, aq sa edhe fshatrat e Fierzës që furnizon me energji të gjithë Shqipërinë prej javësh janë pa energji elektrike, dhe duke marrë në konsideratë se çmimi aktual i energjisë elektrike është pothuajse i papërballueshëm për më shumë se gjysmën e popullatës, Partia e Lirisë angazhohet për uljen e çmimit të energjisë pas zgjedhjeve të 11 Majit.

Duke qenë se konsumatori privat si klient i Furnizimit të Mundësisë së Fundit (FMF) tarifohet me çmim tregu, ka qënë më i lartë se 18.4 lekë/këh dhe ky konsumator privat konsumon 1 Teravat/orë sipas bilancit vjetor të publikuar nga vetë ERE, kjo është një arsye për uljen e çmimit për konsumtorët familjarë dhe sidomos për mbi 790 mijë pensionistë.

Duke qënë se mbi 2100 klientë privatë kanë dalë në treg të lirë dhe energjia që i shet OSHEE është 18.4 lekë/këh dhe konsumi për fashën e klientëve privatë sipas bilancit të ERE është 1.2 Tëh, ky është një faktor tjetër pse duhet ulur çmimi për konsumatorët familjarë e sidomos për pensionistët.

Duke qënë se sasia e energjisë që OSHEE i shet familjarëve shqiptarë është 3.1 Tëh (teravat) dhe kjo sasi është prodhim i garantuar nga KESH sipas mesatares shumë-vjeçare të prodhimit edhe ky është një faktor tjetër, përse duhet ulur çmimi për për konsumatorët familjarë e sidomos pensionistët.

Duke qënë se kosto e energjisë, që furnizon konsumatorin familjar e cila është energji që mund të prodhohet vetëm nga KESH, është rreth 8 lekë/këh, atëhere edhe ky është veçse një argument tjetër për uljen menjëhershme të çmimit të energjisë elektrike për konsumatorin familjar e në mënyrë të veçantë për pensionistët.

Pra është krejtësisht e mundur dhe e realizueshme ulja e çmimit të energjisë elektrike për konsumatorin familjar nga 11.4 lekë/këh të paktën në vlerën 8 lekë/këh.

Me Partinë e Lirisë në Qeveri, nga 1 janari 2026 të gjithë konsumatorët familjarë do të paguajnë energjinë elektrike në vlerë 8 lekë/këh.

Nga kjo masë do të përfitojnë në veçanti rreth 790 mijë pensionistë, në qytet dhe në fshat, që janë sot konsumatori kryesor familjar në Shqipëri dhe që e kanë të pamundur të ushqehen me pensionin e tyre e jo më të blejnë barna dhe akoma më tej të paguajnë faturat e energjisë elektrike me një çmim kaq të lartë, që nuk ka më asnjë justifikim, as në planin ndërkombëtar, as në planin e brendshëm.

For hundreds of thousands of pensioners, especially for those who have worked hard on all those public works that our energy system still has today, and have not received the reward they deserved at that time, and they do not deserve to pay extraordinary prices today, when there is no longer any reason for these prices, which are not only unaffordable but also completely speculative, the Freedom Party is committed to the immediate reduction for family consumers, from 11.4 lek/kWh to at least 8 lek/kWh, and especially for all categories in need who cannot afford these prices.
