The Chairman of the DP Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, has raised further corruption allegations against the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, who has already been suspended from her duties by decision of the Special Court.
Bardhi brought to attention the case of granting a permit for the construction of an 82-megawatt photovoltaic power plant in the village of Boçovë, Fier Municipality, which was declared the winner by Balluku, the company "Albanian Solar Power".
According to him, the beneficiary of the project turns out to be citizen Engjëll Agalliu, a simple employee of the "Salillari" company, who, according to Bardhi, does not have the technical and financial capacities to carry out a project with an investment value of around 80 million euros.
"This is another case that proves that Belinda Balluku is the most corrupt official in the history of the Albanian state, after her boss and lawyer Edi Rama," Bardhi emphasizes, adding that "it is impossible to find a project that bears Balluku's signature and that is in accordance with the law."
The Democratic MP has called on SPAK to hold Belinda Balluku and Prime Minister Edi Rama responsible for this illegality, as well as to tell Albanians who is hiding behind the fictitious name of the owner of this company and whose money is being attempted to be laundered through this 80 million euro project.
Bardhi's reaction:
It is impossible to find a project that bears the signature of Belinda Balluku and is in compliance with the law! Behind every project worth millions of euros, only corruption scandals or serious suspicions of money laundering are hidden.
Belinda Balluku has announced that the Albanian Solar Power company has been declared the winner of a gigantic permit for the construction of an 82-megawatt photovoltaic power plant in the village of Boçovë, Fier Municipality. This project, worth at least 80 million euros in investment, has as its beneficiary the citizen Engjëll Agalliu, a simple employee of the company "Salillari", who does not have either the technical or financial capacity to carry out such a project.
This is another case that proves that Belinda Balluku is the most corrupt official in the history of the Albanian state, after her boss and lawyer Edi Rama.
It is up to the Special Prosecution Office to hold Belinda Balluku and Edi Rama responsible for this illegality, as well as to tell Albanians who is hiding behind the fictitious name of the owner of this company and whose money is being attempted to be laundered through this 80 million euro project.
