On the show "SEPSE" by Arestina Skenderi, expert Granit Sokoli has raised a serious warning for food businesses, large and small, which, according to him, risk closing with the opening of the EU chapter on food safety. Sokoli emphasizes that this is a reality that is not said out loud, but is completely true.
"To meet the standards of the European Union, with all the pain it will cost businesses, some of them will be closed, especially for milk or meat. They will be closed when we are members. Those that do not have NIPT will not exist at all. If you do not take measures, even if you are a large business, the market will throw you out, because you do not meet the conditions. Businesses are obliged to meet these standards, and if they do not meet them, they are out. Businesses have time to take measures and invest", Sokoli claims during the "SEPSE" show.
The expert warns that businesses have time to make the necessary investments to improve hygiene, traceability, documentation and technical standards. /A2
